Wolfpack plays only women's exhibition today while Duke completes exhibition season

N.C. State will play its only exhibition game of the women’s basketball season today at 2 p.m. at Reynolds Coliseum, the same time No. 6 Duke will play its final exhibition game of the season.

The Wolfpack, which went 20-14 and played in the ACC championship game last season, will take on Division II North Greenville (15-15 last season).

Duke, which finished 30-6 and won the ACC title, drubbed Wingate 88-44 in its first exhibition contest on Wednesday night. The Blue Devils will play at Cameron Indoor Stadium against Division II Carson-Newman, which finished 24-7 last season. The Eagles, who lost their exhibition game at Tennessee 110-66 on Tuesday night, will also play at UNC in the Tar Heels’ only exhibition game on Monday at 6 p.m.

NCSU opens regular-season play on Friday at noon against The College of Charleston in the opening game of the Sheraton Raleigh Wolfpack Invitational. Duke hosts Brigham Young in the Blue Devils’ season opener on Saturday night at 7.
