N.C. Central won't have to travel far to play today, but the Eagles will be in their familiar role as underdogs on the road.

Today at 3 the Eagles will visit East Carolina (5-8), the Pirate team paced by scoring and assist leader Brock Young (pictured) out of Raleigh's Broughton High.

ECU has won the teams' first two meetings, both in Greenville, by an average of 19 points.

NCCU (2-11) is still looking for its first road win of the season after 10 attempts.

First-year Eagle coach LeVelle Moton is still seeking his first victory over a Division I opponent.
