Duke's Thaddeus Lewis is among 10 finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, given annually to the best senior quarterback in the country.
Lewis (pictured) is second in the ACC and 17th in the country with 266.8 passing yards per game, and has completed 62.9 percent of 213 passes with 12 touchdowns and two interceptions. His three rushing touchdowns lead the 3-3 Blue Devils.
He is averaging 409.0 yards per game against ACC opposition. That included a 40-for-50 performance for 459 yards and five touchdowns in a 49-28 win at N.C. State, earning him conference player of the week honors as well as national offensive player of the week honors from the Walter Camp Foundation and the honor as Davey O'Brien national quarterback of the week.
The Unitas Award will be presented on Dec. 11 at the Tremont Grand Meeting & Banquet Facility in downtown Baltimore.
