30 individuals indicted by federal grand jury on drug and gun charges

A grand jury in Greensboro has indicted 27 men and three women on federal drug and gun charges, the U.S. attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina announced today. 28 of the defendants are from Alamance County and two are from Guilford County.

The 15 indictments allege that the defendants engaged in conspiracy to distribute cocaine base and marihuana; the distribution of cocaine hydrochloride, cocaine base and marihuana; the use of communications facilities to facilitate the conspiracy to distribute marihuana; the possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking activity and possession of firearms by convicted felons.

Laquan Gavanete Love, 21;
