Campaign for America's Future, a progressive group , will release a two-year, $900 billion plan to boost the economy, which it will propose to President-elect Barack Obama. A media conference call is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., featuring Robert Borosage, co-dir., Campaign for America’s Future; James Galbraith, economist and Univ. of Texas professor; Anna Burger, chair, Change to Win, and SEIU secretary-treasurer; and Leo Gerard, international president, United Steelworkers.
The Campaign for America's Future is a nonprofit group whose donors include the Service Employees International Union and the AFL-CIO.
