We here at the INDY
have been glad to constantly call out Pat McCrory and the legislators who voted for HB 2 for both their bigotry and idiocy, but, sometimes, a song says more than we ever could.
Local musician Mike Robinson of First Persons and suspected member of the ultra-secretive rock legends The Dinwiddies
(and formerly Annuals and Lonnie Walker) has penned a short and sweet song about McCrory and Phil Berger. It's supposed to be goofy lo-fi indie song, but it's really, really good.
"North Carolina is a great state, don't be fooled. We're working a few things out," he writes. "Here is a page
with a fantastic list of nonprofits that could surely use your support."
