The sixth annual Hopscotch Music Festival will take place Sept. 10–12, according to an announcement posted yesterday
. Tickets go on sale Feb. 3, with details about pricing and options, as well as information about the Hopscotch Design Festival promised to come next week.
This confirmation of the festival’s place on the calendar comes a week after the news of the festival’s sale
to local entrepreneur Travis Janovich, best known as the founder of the Morrisville-based ticketing company Etix.
“There’s really no big changes planned,” Janovich said last week. “It’s still going to be curated with lots of local bands. We’ll keep all the things [Hopscotch director Greg Lowenhagen has] built, and with some additional capital we’ll make sure it keeps growing and getting bigger over time.”
A full announcement of the music festival’s lineup will be released in April. In the meantime, you can watch a recap of last year's festival below.
