your turn Immigrant Advocacy Training, Wednesday, May 17: Through a grant received from the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices, El Centro Hispano, North Carolina Justice and Community Development Center, and the N.C. Occupational Safety and Health Project (NCOSH), are providing training in immigrant advocacy. These training sessions teach participants about immigrants' rights and responsibilities, what constitutes unfair and discriminatory labor practices, and how to assist people in filing employment discrimination charges. The training is open to the public, and sessions will be held throughout the state on different dates.
