Teens Climb High: The Women's Center in Chapel Hill is recruiting volunteers for its teen mentoring program Teens Climb High. The program is the Women's Center's collaboration with the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Residents' Council, a co-ed adolescent pregnancy and violence prevention program for low-income youth. Mentors provide one-on-one social support and encouragement for at-risk youth between the ages of 10 and 14. Volunteers are asked to make a one-year commitment to spend at least two hours per week with their teen. Training begins soon. Call 968-4610 for information.
