TheatreFest: A Murder is Announced

When: Wednesdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m. and Sundays, 3 p.m. Continues through June 11 2010

In a sleepy English town, a murder is announced on paper for all the townsfolk to see, and it's up to Agatha Christie's Miss Marple to figure out whodunit—or willhavedunit. The theatrical adaptation of A Murder is Announced—along with two other Christie works, Murder on the Nile and Spiderweb—is part of N.C. State's summer staple TheatreFest, which includes performances by student as well as guest artists. Directed by Common Ground's Rachel Klem and starring JoAnne Dickinson as Miss Marple, this show will have you guessing at the culprit until the very end. A Murder is Announced is presented through June 11; TheatreFest runs through June 27. TheatreFest season tickets are $33 for all three shows or $26 for two shows, and general admission is $15 for adults, $13 for NCSU affiliates and $5 for NCSU students. —Belem Destefani
