THE WOLF

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 11–FRIDAY, FEB. 20, RALEIGH

FLETCHER OPERA THEATER—Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? In fairy tales, virtually everyone—but not Theatre Raleigh. In its first-ever all-original Theatre for Young Audiences production, Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Little Pigs and the Boy Who Cried Wolf join forces against their shared lupine bête noire. Director Andrew Britt, writer Joe Calarco, choreographer Jason Wise and composer Andrew Catrini work with a local cast in this dance-theater production, which one expects to blow—no, make that "bring"—the house down among the tots. 7 p.m. Feb. 11–12 and 18–19; 10:30 a.m. Feb. 12–13 and 19–20, $10–$32.14,

2 E. South St., Raleigh, 919-996-8500, www.theatreraleigh.com. —Brian Howe
