JUSTIN EARLE AND JUBAL LEE YOUNG
HIDEAWAY BBQ—Like father, like son, right? This special Father's Day showcase features Justin Earle and Jubal Lee Young, two sons of country legends. Earle, heir to country-rocker Steve Earle, bridges the gap between twang-country and arena-sized guitar rock with Springsteen-gauge lyrics and melodies. Touring partner Young is the son of country singer/songwriter Steve Young ("Seven Bridges Road," not six-point poss). He follows the steps of his father, folding folk and rock into gritty tunes that embody the spirit of vintage '70s country soul. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $10 at the door. —Kathy Justice
