So & So Reading Series

The most consistent poetry series in the Triangle brings in a slate of five writers to share work in December. A frequent contributor to Coldfront Magazine, Steven Karl has written a collaborative chapbook, State(s) of Flux, with the artist Joseph Lappie, among other publications. Floridian Alexis Orgera's books include How Like Foreign Objects (H_ngm_n Books) and Dust Jacket (Coconut Books, 2013); she has taught writing at New College of Florida and Ringling College of Art and Design. Brooklyn's Hanna Andrews is an editor at the Academy of American Poets; her chapbook, a/long/division, was published by Tilt Press. Sandra Simonds' books include Warsaw Bikini (Bloof Books, 2009) and Mother Was a Tragic Girl (Cleveland State University Press, 2012). Nick Sturm, a Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts candidate, edits YesYes Books and the Akron Series in Poetry; he has a chapbook titled What a Tremendous Time We're Having! on iO Books. —Chris Vitiello
