Launch of the New Roots / Nuevas Raíces Latino oral history collection. This bilingual collection of interviews, transcribed in Spanish and English, focuses on Latino/a migration and the formation of new communities throughout the South. The program will include a brief video documenting the project’s evolution, followed by comments from library archivists and community partners. The reception will feature music by Charanga Carolina and listening stations where guests can sample these interviews.
