Musician Django Haskins & writer Daniel Wallace

When: Sat., Jan. 11, 8 p.m. 2014

It's hard to find shape-shifting artists as good as musician Django Haskins and writer Daniel Wallace. These guys flick through genres like they have a teenager aiming a remote control at them. Now they collaborate on an irreverent one-night treat of story and song as part of the Friday Center's Atrium Series. A creative writing professor at UNC-Chapel Hill, Wallace has penned five novels, with Big Fish becoming a feature film and Broadway musical. Haskins, who's cut his teeth on such collabs as Professor Diablo's True Revue, has racked up albums and tours as both a solo artist and leader of The Old Ceremony. This one should rollick. —Chris Vitiello
