Jabberbox Puppet Theater Unleashed | The ArtsCenter | Stage | Indy Week

Jabberbox Puppet Theater Unleashed

When: Sept. 6-7, 8 p.m. 2013

The Triangle houses a wealth of puppet and toy theater performers. Marianne Gingher and Deborah Seabrooke—performing as Jabberbox since 2009—have set themselves apart through salon-style performances in living rooms and on stages including the Carrboro ArtsCenter, which hosts their new show. Unleashed! takes dogs and cats as the theme of a cabaret of "caterwaul and doggerel," bringing a Daniel Wallace short story to life and including Jabberbox's trademark "brief puppet nudity" in this PG-13 show. —Chris Vitiello

Price: $10-12
