Talk about a premiere: Flicker has 11 of them at its "50 Feet of Good and Evil" show Thursday, May 27 at Cat's Cradle. These are movies so new that no one has seen them, not even the filmmakers. Here's how that happened: At 9 a.m. on May 8, Flicker organizers met with a group of selected filmmakers and after bagels and coffee handed out cameras loaded with 50 feet of film (that's about 3 minutes in Super 8 land). The filmmakers were asked to shoot--editing in camera--a short film exploring the theme of good and evil and return the camera that evening. The films went off to the lab May 10 and have been under wraps since their return. The show costs $3. Doors open at 8 p.m. Screening starts at 8:30 p.m. Information at
