This week Manbites Dog theater company will begin presenting an expanded and revised version of A Tune for Tommy, their 2001 workshop hit. In the mid-90s, Red Clay Ramblers co-founder Tommy Thompson was diagnosed with a progressive Alzheimer's-like dementia (for more on this, read David Potorti's article "A Tune for Tommy," from the April 4 Indy, available at www.indyweek.com). This musical production, written by Thompson's daughter Jesse Thompson Eustice along with Edward Hunt and Jeff Storer, features music from The Hollow Rockers Band. If you missed it the first go 'round, catch it Feb. 14-March 10 at Manbites Dog Theater in Durham. Call 682-3343 for details.
