Autonomy 2 Gallery in Raleigh is the first out of the gates with an exhibiton--titled 9.11.01--assembling work that grew out of the personal and political impact of recent terrorist attacks on the lives of the exhibiting artists. Each artist in the exhibition--including the likes of Andrea Lekburg, Richard Garrison, Gayle Stott Lowry and Anthony Ulinski (there is also a rumor that George Bireline will participate)--will be represented by one work. A percentage of proceeds from the sale of work in the exhibition will go to the New York City Relief Effort. An opening reception will be held Friday, Nov. 2, from 7-10 p.m. The show runs through Nov. 30. Call 829-0709 for details.
