FYI: If you're worried that your slate may be a bit full to make it to the polls on Nov. 2, you've got a whole week to place your vote in any of the dozens of one-stop voting polling places throughout the Triangle. From Oct. 23 to Oct. 30, registered Wake County voters can cast advance ballots in Pullen Park, Mary E. Phillips High School or the 11 other locations (for a complete list, visit www.wakegov.com ). To celebrate the kick-off of this get-out-the-vote initiative, N.C. State's student-run WKNC 88.1FM is throwing a two-day Democracy Fest next to campus at Pullen Park. Saturday's lineup includes Sorry About Dresden, Nathan Asher & The Infantry, Strange, Kaze and Mosadi Music while Sunday's shows are by Schooner, Valient Thorr and Patty Hurst Shifter. For more information, visit www.wknc.org .
