In steppin'

"We all have a love for folk music of all kinds to the point of hysteria," reads the bio of Dominic "Sparky" Suchyta, bassist for Michican-based Steppin' In It. The acoustic quartet also includes Josh Davis on acoustic guitar, who remembers at age 13 having an interest in folk music, but being "overridden by a love of 'Weird' Al Yankovic and The Dead Milkmen;" Joe Wilson on the dobro, steel guitar and fiddle, who's love of music led him to a life of "playing in progressive rock bands,"(not to mention a premature exodus from high school);" and Andy Wilson (brother to Joe), harmonica, Cajun button accordion, trumpet, ukele and whistles player, who, apparently, "leads a life of mystery." Steppin' will make an appearance at your local venue, The Pour House, this Sunday, Jan. 11 at 10 p.m. The show is free, so get a move on. And be careful exactly what you step into. 821-1120 or www.the-pour-house.com/pages.
