The Durham Music Festival now sports the Troika tag, and--as a reflection--it's now branched out to include Chapel Hill and Raleigh. Things get started Tuesday, Aug. 23 at Wetlands in Chapel Hill with Jett Rink, Eyes to Space and more, just as the action gets kicking in Durham at Joe & Jo's with Cantwell Gomez & Jordan, The Quarantines, Lactose Quervo and three others. A total of 75 bands--almost exclusively from the Triangle--will take to some Triangle stage by the time Portastatic ends it Saturday night at Durham's new 305 South.
