It's fitting that The Pour House, the Triangle's best bet for twangy, rootsy music courtesy of its wonderful Sunday Night Roots Series and other key bookings, is the scene of the release show for Stillhouse's many-years-in-the-fermenting debut on Oct. 12, seeing how the four-piece might could pass for a local Americana-scene supergroup. Dave Wilson and Greg Readling are half of ace bluegrass outfit Chatham County Line, while Zeke Hutchins is a former member of Regina Hexaphone. All three play in, or at least have played in, the Tift Merritt-backing Carbines. And fourth Stillhouser Johnny Irion records and tours with his wife Sarah Lee Guthrie. (Long ago, Hutchins and Irion co-starred in Durham-based drama-rock band Queen Sarah Saturday, but it's hard to give that a roots spin.) Another talented throwback quartet, Hooverville, opens. Doors are at 8, and $6 gets you through them. Music starts at 10 p.m.
