Dead puppies aren't much fun. Such is the mantra of singer-songwriter and stand-up comedian Stephen Lynch. His choirboy looks are more than a little deceiving. Lynch is mercilessly funny. He's touring with his new CD, The Craig Machine, which released Oct. 4. Craig, who inspired the album's title track, is Jesus' lesser-known sour apple brother whose resume includes "turning water into cold Coors Light." The Kalamazoo, Mich., native will be playing at the Carolina Theatre in Durham on Friday, Nov. 4 beginning at 8:30 p.m. So prepare yourself to be surprised, be offended, and go home holding your sides. Tickets are $21.
