If you're hankering for music from the British Isles, the Triangle Folk Music Society presents Northern England "Geordie" troubadour Jez Rowe, a working-class hero singer-songwriter who has been a fixture on the British circuit for the past 20 years. He scored in the '80s with Two a Roue, a collaboration with hurdy-gurdy pioneer Jake Walton, and his songs have been covered by the likes of Fairport Convention, Cherish the Ladies and more. Lowe performs this Friday, Feb. 15 at the Skylight Exchange in Chapel Hill. Call 286-7963 for details. -Angie Carlson
