The Durham Association for Downtown Arts will be holding the 11th Café DADA, featuring Anima Dance and other local dancers. DADA has been putting together shows through independent producers and artists, as part of the Local Artists LIVE series during the past year. For a mere $5, you can experience the innovative modern dance performance titled "Anima Dance Presents," the comapany's most current piece. This will be taking place at the P.S.I. Theatre in the Durham Arts Council, 120 Morris St., on Thursday, Jan. 30. Being downtown will also give you a chance to checkout the local nightlife at venues like Ringside and Talk of the Town. Café DADA is a good way to support local art, since all admission money will go directly into the hands of the artists. The show begins at 8:30 p.m. Call 560-2787 for more information.
