Clydefest, featuring music from The Bluegrass Experience and Brown Mountain Lights, will take place from noon to 5 p.m. this Saturday, June 22. Chatham County artist and resident Clyde Jones, whose chainsaw critters--especially reindeer--adorn the yards of many Bynum homes, will take a chainsaw to wood in order to create a work of art on the spot. Better yet, if you get the lucky raffle ticket, you'll be taking Clyde's newborn critter home with you. The fest takes place this Saturday, June 22 at the Chatham County Arts Council's Ferguson Farm, located between Siler City and Pittsboro. Call 542-1858 for details. --Angie Carlson
