They had a dream, and the dream was: Jeopardy!
The North Carolina Central University student government association and the Alpha Chi chapter of the Alpha Kappa Sorority will be holding a Black History Jeopardy event this Wednesday, Feb. 20. According to student government association president Stephanie Jackson, the event was designed "to celebrate the achievements of African-Americans and to test the knowledge of students and inform them about little-known black history facts." Contestants will include members of the national Pan-Hellenic Council, and the student government vice-president will serve as a stand-in for Alex Trebek. Prizes will be awarded to all winners. The event will be held in the Taylor Education Auditorium at NCCU, beginning at 7 p.m. Call 530-7454 for details.
