Duke students will perform a staged reading of selections from George Packer’s play Betrayed, exploring the relationships between American military and diplomatic personnel stationed in Iraq and the interpreters who assisted them. The reading, which will last approximately one hour, will be followed by a panel discussion, moderated by D.G. Martin, including Kirk Johnson, founder of The List Project to Resettle Iraqi Allies and others.
