Freddie for a Day: The Songs of Queen

When: Sat., Sept. 14, 9 p.m. 2013

Triangle musicians celebrate the life of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury while raising funds for Planned Parenthood & the Mercury Phoenix Trust, an HIV/AIDS charitable organization. Scheduled to perform are Buckley, Murtaugh & Waters, Fantastico!, Magnolia Collective, Curtis Eller’s American Circus, Billy Sugarfix, Jane Francis, Beloved Binge, Randy Dean Whitt, Burke Hilburn & the Vice Grips, Mark Simonsen, Bears in the City, Jeff Hart, New Town Drunks, Mara Thomas, John Pardue, Radar's Clowns of Sedation, Loose Screws, Jim Smith & others. There will also be an art exhibit featuring portraits of Freddie Mercury by NC artists, a Freddie costume contest & a raffle.
