First Language—The Race to Save Cherokee

A production of the North Carolina Language and Life Project (NCLLP), First Language documents the measures being taken to reestablish Cherokee as a native language. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers, Wolfram, and members of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation.
