Fall-ternative: Live Music

A refreshing new voice has emerged from the Triad in the alternative pop incarnation of Joshua3. Greensboro native and well-seasoned singer-songwriter Joshua West on guitar is joined by classically trained Brown Biggers on bass and violin, along with two former members of Creamy Velour--guitarist Jesse Allard and drummer Herbie Gimmel. Together they form a lively and fun combo, performing original tunes that are guaranteed to put the boogie in your caboose. A growing favorite of the Triad, check them out locally Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Open Eye Café, 100 E. Main St., Carrboro. Call 968-9410 for details.
