There's dumpster diving, and then there's freeganism. In the world's richest country, many perfectly edible crumbs fall from the table. The waste of edible food in a society with many poor and hungry people is a paradox—or perhaps a perfectly logical consequence—of American capitalism. At any rate, Jeremy Seifert's documentary, Dive, follows a group of youthful radicals who've figured out how to sustain themselves on the ample fat of the land. There's more than just counterculture fashion at work, however: There's a serious anarchist political theme here, too, as the film's subjects look for a way for the proles to remake—and retake—the land of the free. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.—David Fellerath
