Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret - Documentary Screening and Panel Discussion

Duke University’s student group, Food4Thought, is screening the new documentary, Cowspiracy, a film analyzing the effects of the meat industry on our environment, the challenges of human population growth, and the looming realities of climate change. Refreshments will be provided, and a panel discussion will follow, with Larry Moneta (VP of Duke Student Affairs), Dr. Gabriel Rosenberg (womens' study professor examining the linkages between the food system and sexuality), Dr. Matt Harding (economist and data scientist involved in issues relating to the environment and health), Dilip Barman (Food for Life Instructor), and Patrick Robinette (a local grassfed beef farmer).
