AutoErotique, PeaceTreaty, Scanners, Rob Roy

When: Wed., June 22, 9:30 p.m. 2011

All six of the songs on the free digital EP meant to promote this tour sponsored by Scion and Dim Mak Records are remixes. Dim Mak's M.O., after all, is bridging indie rock and dance music, so this Dim Mak-curated bill represents the balancing act well. The bouncy, post-punk-lite of U.K. band Scanners wears a remix well, while Canadian duo Autoerotique lend their beat-centric vision to Weezer's "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To." Los Angeles' Peacetreaty (whose token indie remix is Band of Horses' "The Funeral") and rapper/ producer Rob Roy join the bill. Admission to the 9:30 p.m. show is free if you RSVP at —Bryan Reed
