Raleigh sextet Annuals, fresh off a new EP called Sweet Sister, kick off another summer of Duke Performances' Music in the Gardens series.

Beginning tonight and continuing almost every Wednesday through Aug. 11, there will be live music in the Sarah P. Duke Gardens. In order: Camera Obscura, Lonnie Walker and Mount Moriah, Kate McGarry and Keith Ganz, Bowerbirds, Samantha Crain, Kooley High, Kingsbury Manx, Max Indian, Billy Sugarfix Carousel, Mallarmé Chamber Players and members of the Ciompi Quartet.

Most shows are on Wednesday and most tickets prices are in the $5–$15 range. In the case of the Annuals show, it's $5–$10, kids under 12 free. —David Fellerath
