WHAT IS TROIKA? Now in its fifth (or sixth) year, Troika Music Festival is an attempt to explore the spaces in Durham available for supporting live music—from bars and restaurants to clubs and co-ops—by mixing loads of local bands (this year, more than 50) with emerging national talent. This year's tally: 89 acts in seven spaces. The schedules below are your guide to them all.

HOW DO I BUY TICKETS? Three-day passes for the festival are available at Bull City Records on Perry Street in Durham before the festival and at the door of each show Thursday night. Festival passes are $20, or $35 for a festival pass with admission to a Troika-sponsored Les Savy Fav/ Des Ark show at Duke Coffeehouse Saturday, Nov. 17. Tickets for individual Troika shows are available at the door. Prices are listed below each venue name in the following schedules.

Thursday, Nov. 1
Friday, Nov. 2
Saturday, Nov. 3
