Saint Augustine's College—Those looking for a dose of foreign cinema this month should head over to the Department of International Studies at Saint Augustine's College, which is screening a different French film every Wednesday through March 4. This week, it's Rêves de Poussière (Dreams of Dust), a 2006 film by Laurent Salgues. It tells the story of Mocktar, a displaced Nigerian who settles into a decrepit mining town whose inhabitants are sustained by the promise of one day finding gold. Next week, the festival will screen 2004's Moolade, directed by Ousmane Sembene. This film series has been awarded the Tournées Festival Grant; showings are at Seby Jones Auditorium at 5:30 p.m, and are free and open to the public. —Zack Smith
