RALEIGH
MARSHALL CRENSHAW
Hideaway BBQ—Not only did Crenshaw pen a near perfect pop song ("Someday, Someway"), he portrayed Buddy Holly (to whom he's been compared) in the movie La Bamba, and most recently held down the guitar slot opposite Wayne Kramer in the reunited MC5. He's rightly regarded as one of the great tunesmiths of his generation, deserving of more fame and fortune than he's received. Tonight, he at least deserves your attention. Tickets are $15 and the show begins at 8:30 p.m. —Chris Parker
