The Homosexuals

When: May 2-25 2013

Homosexuals in the theater? INCONCEIVABLE! OK, with the most obvious joke in the history of time out of the way, we can now tell you of this new work by Philip Dawkins about a decade in the life of a young gay man and his friends in New York City. It's billed as "a sexy and funny tale for anyone who's even fallen in love with a friend." Directed by Manbites Dog artistic director Jeff Storer, the play was already nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for New Work after its premiere in the summer of 2011. But such hot-of-the-presses work is par for the course with Manbites Dog. —Zack Smith
