--Marshall Davis Brown, attorney for Sharon Bush, the wife of presidential brother Neil Bush, in a question posed as part of the couple's divorce proceedings. Court documents reveal that Bush received a $400,000-a-year contract to provide business advice to a Chinese computer chip manufacturer just as the Bush administration was promising to crack down on alleged trade abuses by the Chinese, the Los Angeles Times reports. Neil Bush, you may recall, was a director of Silverado, a Colorado thrift whose failure cost U.S. taxpayers $1 billion, and was one of 12 defendants who agreed to pay $49 million to settle a negligence lawsuit brought by the FDIC.
