Carrboro's newest dining and drinking establishment Milltown opens its doors on Wednesday, May 10. It's located at 307 E. Main St., directly across from the ArtsCenter and Cat's Cradle. Owned and run by a number of the principals from Durham's Federal, Milltown's menus features an eclectic range of items including mussels and frites, slow-cooked ribs, a big pork sandwich, steak frites, fish tacos and specials that change daily, plus 15 draught beers and 125 bottles. On Thursday, May 11, Zely & Ritz in Raleigh is hosting a five-course wine dinner featuring wines from the August Briggs Winery in Napa Valley and Briggs' Beth Adams, an N.C. native.
