You can always hear what Finnish composer Jean Sibelius is up to. Sibelius praised the logic of the symphonic form, developing his symphonies from basic motifs that never completely disappear. Director Grant Llewellyn brings the North Carolina Symphony to UNC for one night before taking this program of Sibelius' Second Symphony and works by Benjamin Britten and Robert Ward back to Raleigh for Friday and Saturday concerts at Meymandi Concert Hall. Zuill Bailey is the featured cellist. All shows begin at 8 p.m. —Chris Vitiello
