Triangle Amateur Robotics meeting

Centennial Campus--Visit and read the notes from the last several months, and you'll feel the urge to attend their regular meeting, too. They refer (once) to their leader, William, as dictator, and they always mention when they have lots of stuff to give away. People talk about their own underwater robot projects, share Lego competition tales, demonstrate text-to-speech modules and hear lectures from local robotics professionals. They meet the first Monday of each month in Room 1220 of Engineering Building 2 on N.C. State's Centennial Campus. Meetings are free and open to the public. For more convincing, see the incredible logo to the right.

Hannah Gill

Regulator Bookshop--The UNC-Chapel Hill professor reads from Going to Carolina del Norte: Narrating Mexican Migrant Experiences, a narrative of Mexican immigrants in Orange County, at 7 p.m.
