Lines of Control: Partition as a Productive Space

When: Sept. 9-Feb. 2 2014

As an estimated quarter of the Syrian population considers crossing the country's borders to flee conflict zones, Duke's Nasher Museum of Art gives us a wealth of takes on borders from contemporary artists around the world in the exhibition Lines of Control: Partition as a Productive Space. The exhibit deals with how national borders—both physical and psychological—are drawn and maintained, focusing on (but not limited to) South Asia. —Chris Vitiello
