When: Thu., July 4, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. 2013
The house will be open & staffed by costumed docents who will be available to answer your questions. On the grounds, re-enactors will demonstrate various aspects of colonial life. Visitors may participate in hands-on activities such as writing with a quill pen or making rag dolls. Old-fashioned crafts & games for the children plus free lemonade for all. Also the circa 1770 plantation manor house & the 1790 “kitchen” building will be open.
