Sick of silver bells and all that special Christmas cheer? Jeff Goode's The Eight: Reindeer Monologues has tickled the fancy of Scrooges everywhere with its salacious version of Santa's village. The play starts when the reindeer Vixen accuses Santa of sexual harassment and the media descends to get all the gory details. As the other sleigh-team members decide to weigh in with their own stories, the real truth recedes until it is as distant and nebulous as the North Pole itself. Open Door Theatre's December production of the play (pictured) is a moveable feast, first at West End Wine Bar (Dec. 2 and 3 at 3 p.m.), then Skylight Exchange (Dec. 8 and 9 at 9 p.m.) and finally at the Artist's Escape (Dec 15 and 16 at 9 p.m.). Jeri Lynn Schulke directs. Admission is a suggested donation of $5; call 933-4650 for details.
