Weather the perennial water shortages this year by planning ahead for your green leafed friends. The North Carolina Botanical Garden and the Orange Water and Sewer Authority will preach the evangel of water-efficient, yet attractive landscaping and water saving lawn care principles at the Chapel Hill Town Hall on Tuesday. The workshop will include presentations on soil preparation and mulching, choosing drought-resistant and native plants, reducing turf area through alternative plantings and efficient irrigation methods.
