Regular home to such monthly series as the Periodic Tables Science Cafe and the music performance workshop The Relative Pitch, Broad Street recently added another recurring event to its calendar with this program of culinary-related talks, book signings and demonstrations, held the last Tuesday of every month. This time around, author Elizabeth Wiegand will be on hand to talk about her new volume, The Outer Banks Cookbook: Recipes and Traditions from North Carolina's Barrier Islands. —Peter Blackstock
