Triangle Offense's RailHawks' player ratings for Sunday night's draw against the Mexican Olympic National team. Let us know your thoughts...

GK Nic Platter - 8: Two saves and several swatted away threats gave him RailHawks’ Man of the Match; only an own goal denied him a clean sheet

D Mark Schulte - 5: His failed clearance, deflected into his own goal, gave Mexico its only point; fitness is clearly still an issue for the RailHawks’ captain

D Matt Bobo - 7: Repelled repeated Mexican attacks during the first half; during his 45 minutes on the pitch, Mexico only mustered two shots on goal

D Greg Shields - 7: Played the full 90 and did yeoman’s work contending with much quicker opposition

D John Gilkerson - 6: A hot-and-cold first half at left back preceded a frustrating second when he moved to central defense and Mexico enjoyed 11 shots on goal

M Floyd Franks - 8: Franks’ first outing since the preseason was promising; combined good touch with a couple of shots; foul-happiness should diminish with more match fitness

M Marques Davidson - 7: First full match of the season gave glimpse of talent that attracted Coach Rennie to sign him; nice passing offset by getting repeatedly beaten to the ball

M Brad Rusin - 6: Ineffectual performance in midfield mitigated by the fact that he was playing out of his normal defender position; however, contributed good work rate; would like to see more of him on the back line

M Matt Watson - 6: Never really threatened opposition from the right flank before tiring and being substituted at halftime; might proven more effective at center midfield

F Gregory Richardson - 8: As usual, things happened when Richardson was on the pitch; seemingly the only RailHawk capable of running past fleet-footed opposition

F Andriy Budnyy - 7: Repeatedly struggled to maintain his touches; slipped numerous times; compensated with clever goal conversion off a point-blank free kick

Subs

D David Hayes - 6: Beaten on a long cross or two at left back; didn’t show much going forward; still, a decent effort considering he just joined the team on trial

M Cory Elenio - 6: Technical efficiency negated by lack of speed compared to Mexican opponents

M Josh Gardner - 6: Between possession problems and yellow card, never created any shot opportunities except for a couple of good corner kicks that taller teammates should have converted

M Daniel Paladini - 5: Was rarely heard from after coming on in 64th minute; nothing materialized from his corner and free kicks

F Sallieu Bundu - 6: Showed better touch and quickness during his 21 minutes of playing time, but never got a shot off
